Sad but true

We saw this quote the other day in a gift shop (it was embroidered into one of those pillows people rarely buy but they're kinda fun to look at), and it read:

Dogs have masters. Cats have staff.

Now that we're the proud owners of a cat, we understand how true this is!! For example...our little Dido has learned how to open doors at her leisure. How we wish we could teach her to SHUT them! But, apparently, in her view, this is why she has us!
